Linkin Park’s ’Meteora’ reenters ’Billboard’ 200 following release of 20th anniversary reissue
Linkin Park‘s 2003 album, Meteora, is shooting back up the charts following the release of a 20th anniversary reissue earlier this month.
The record returns to the Billboard 200 this week at #8 with a total of 38,500 equivalent album units, an increase of 635%.
The reissue, which dropped April 7, includes a whole host of bonus material, such as the previously unreleased track “Lost,” featuring lead vocals by the late Chester Bennington. “Lost” hit #1 on both Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock and Alternative Airplay charts.
Upon its original release 20 years ago, Meteora debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and kicked off a streak of four straight #1 albums — five if you count Collision Course, LP’s 2004 collaborative EP with JAY-Z.
