Yungblud & Avril Lavigne guesting on upcoming ‘Carpool Karaoke: The Series’ episode
Yungblud and Avril Lavigne are bringing pop-punk to Carpool Karaoke: The Series.
The “Fleabag” rocker and the “Sk8er Boi” artist are getting behind the wheel together for an upcoming episode of Apple TV+’s adaptation of the popular Late Late Show segment.
You can see Yungblud and Lavigne briefly in a trailer for the show, though unfortunately we don’t get a preview of what they’re singing. We’d guess, though, that one of the songs on their playlist is their collaborative single “I’m a Mess,” which appears on the deluxe version of Lavigne’s 2022 album, Love Sux.
Yungblud and Lavigne’s Carpool Karaoke premieres June 23. Other upcoming guests include Alanis Morissette and Cara Delevingne, Cedric the Entertainer and Sheryl Lee Ralph, Glee co-stars Lea Michele and Darren Criss, and Community castmates Alison Brie and Danny Pudi.
The two also performed “I’m a Mess” together on The Late Late Show last November.
