Brendon Urie thanks fans after Panic! At The Disco plays final show
Brendon Urie announced in January that Panic! At the Disco would be coming to an end, and now that end is here. Over the weekend the band played their final live show in Manchester, England, and Urie took to social media to thank fans for their support over the years.
“I’m overcome with gratitude. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he shared on Instagram. “For the last 18 years, it’s truly been an experience that I’ll always be grateful for. So if you’ve been with us for 18 years, thank you very much. And if you’ve just joined us, welcome and….farewell. Either way, I love you very much, and I just can’t say thank you enough. Let’s live every day like it’s our last, babyyyyy!”
When announcing the end of the band, Urie said he wanted to focus on his family, which includes his wife, Sarah Orzechowski, and their 1-month-old baby.
As for the show, according to setlist.fm, Panic! played a 25-song set that featured songs like “Hey Look Ma, I Made It,” “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” ending the show with “High Hopes.”
