The members of Rage Against the Machine are having trouble standing on their own two feet amid their much-anticipated reunion tour.

Early on in the trek, frontman Zack de la Rocha suffered a leg injury, forcing him to perform seated for subsequent shows. Fast-forward to last Friday’s show in Toronto, during which guitarist Tom Morello suddenly found himself hitting the deck.

In fan-shot footage posted to YouTube, you can see what appears to be a member of the crowd rushing the stage during the set’s closing performance of the Rage classic “Killing in the Name.” As a security guard runs to tackle the uninvited guest, they accidentally hit Morello, as well, knocking him over.

According to Rolling Stone, Morello was able to get back up, and Rage restarted and finished the song.

Rage Against the Machine’s reunion tour launched earlier this month after being postponed from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The outing, which marks the rap-metal outfit’s first shows together since 2011, currently has dates scheduled into 2023.
