Evanescence and Korn are uniting for a co-headlining U.S. tour this summer.
The joint outing begins August 16 in Denver, and will come to a close September 16 in Ridgefield, Washington. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 8, at 10 a.m. local time.
“I fell hard into Korn’s music in high school,” says Evanescence’s Amy Lee. “It was an inspiration during the formation of my own band. The chances we’ve had to play together over the years are special, a part of our history. They remain one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.”
“We’re looking forward to going on tour this summer and bringing our friends, Evanescence, out,” adds Korn’s Jonathan Davis. “Whenever Amy comes to one of our shows, I always love seeing her on the side of the stage watching the whole set and rocking out. We’re gonna have a great time on this tour, and we can’t wait to see you there.”
Evanescence and Korn previously toured together in 2007. You may also remember when Lee joined Davis and company for a rendition of “Freak on a Leash” during Korn’s MTV Unplugged performance.
Evanescence will be supporting their 2021 comeback album The Bitter Truth, while Korn will be touring behind their new effort, Requiem, which just dropped this past February.
