The members of Halestorm had a scary start to their Thursday morning.

In an Instagram post, guitarist Joe Hottinger shares that he and his band mates were asleep at a hotel in Worcester, Massachusetts, when they woke up at 3 a.m. to their tour bus “burning down.” Luckily, as Hottinger writes, “No one was hurt.”

“The Worcester fire department got there and put the fire out,” Hottinger says. “They were amazing. Our fearless security Steve pulled guitars and luggage out of the bay. We all lost some stuff, but it was just stuff.”

He adds, “The investigator doesn’t know what started it, but it began in the bunk hall. What matters is that no one was hurt.”

Halestorm is in Worcester to perform a co-headlining show Thursday night with Evanescence, which was rescheduled from last month due to COVID-19.

“The best part is that tonight, we will rock,” Hottinger says. Looking forward to playing some music and forgetting about things being on fire.”
